From a young age, Imogen has been interested in writing, drawing, and the idea of film making. This eventually led to her pursuing an education in film, and she has finished a Bachelor of Film Production at Holmesglen TAFE. Imogen is based in Melbourne, Australia.

Imogen is currently the director of the Newport Youth Film Festival Australia, where she is putting together the festival, now in its fifth year. She was also the winner of the 2013 competition, with the film 'The Haunted House'

Since going to film school, Imogen has worked as a costumer, runner, clapper loader, extra, assistant director and director on various short films.

Most recently Imogen worked as a producer on the student film Marooned. She also worked as the concept artist and lead costume maker.

Imogen often deals with surreal or montage themes in her film work, using sound and abstract image to convey the story. Darker themes are often more present in her drawings. She loves everything weird and strange.
